It is set in a richly agricultural area, and offers superb views of the Hambleton Hills to the east and Wensleydale to the west.

Located just a few minutes away from the A19, the course is easily accessible from York, Leeds, Harrogate, Teesside and the North East, as well as the nearby market towns from which it takes its name.
